Rock Climbing Donner Summit, CA. July 25th, 2004 Karen Thompson & Steve Disalvo spent the day learning to Rock Climb. Below are a few photos from there first day on the rocks. The day was action packed. Starting with some basic movement on the rock (bouldering), rope work (knots & belays), placing anchors, rappelling followed by a nice climb. The day wrapped up looking at some ancient rock art and watching other climbers on the nearby cliffs. (Click images to enlarge)
