Mt. Whitney East Face Route 5.6 At 2:00 am Evan Firstman and Brian Biega set out to climb Mt. Whitney's East Face. After leaving Donner Summit at 2:00 they made their way down Hwy. 365 while Metallica blasted from the speakers. With a quick stop at Deadmans Summit for some early morning bouldering the climbing began.
