La Chambot Annecy, France Near the Swiss Border is the beautiful French city of Annecy, a city filled with life and spirit. Lake Annecy located on the edge of the city drains its water through the city and provides the feeling of being in Venice but with large peaks towering above. Just outside of the city is a rock climbing area called La Chambot with a variety of climbs for all levels. The place is magnificent with spectacular views of the French country side and Lake Chambot below.
