Star Walls, Star Wars Crack C1
In the summer of 1999 Haze and David Thompson climbed Star Wars
Crack at the Star Walls area of Donner Summit. Star walls
is the home of one of Tahoe's Hardest Sport Climbs and the
site of the beautiful crack climb, Star Wars Crack 5.13a
or A1. This crack when climbed on Aid provides some great
challenge to the lead climber with overhanging climbing
from the ground, big reaches for the best protection, and
even more so when free climbed. All the same, however it
is climbed, the crack is both challenging and rewarding.
